Touch Mudder. Well after doing Tough Guy last year I didn’t really think Tough Mudder would be much of a challenge so it was something that didn’t really appeal to me. I’d done the original mud challenge and completed it so was happy to leave it at that, but when a few guys from my office suggested we did it, I was game for a lads day out.

The Plan:

The plan was to make a weekend of it and volunteer on the Saturday for half a day at the finish line, which would give us reduced entry to the Sunday. Originally there was 4 of us keen to do it, but as the event drew closer only two of has actually did it.  As the event was in Cirencester, it meant it was only a 20 minute drive up the road for us, so it was ideal to go both days and meant we didn’t need to camp.

Saturday:

Saturday rolled around – the day we were volunteering at the finish line. I was up at 5am to eat something and get dressed before Fish picked me up at 5:30. We had to be at the venue before 6am to register and get a briefing.

Sunday:

Sunday we were actually running
